Furry friends

Made several furry friends on my vacation. The first one was Tiba who roams Lake Resort with much lovingness. I met him on my morning walk. This part mountain mastiff and part indigenous four legged friend of mine just came bouncing as if he had known me for his entire life.
Tiba is four years old and belongs to the Verma family who run this beautiful establishment. He followed me to my room for a treat. And thereafter went away minding the numerous monkeys who play on the roof tops from the crack of the dawn. But we all were undettered by their merry making and turned over and went back to spleep in perfect happiness.

This is Bruno, a four year old Bhotiya Mastiff who commands all the respect that one can muster. His eyes will tell you clearly that he is not the one to be messed with, one man dog I am and you are not that person. But he was friendly enough to sit around with us and let us click away numerous shots. His master panditji told us that he loves when it snows. His joy knows no bound during that time. We sincerely hope the global warming won't reduce the snowfall in the mountains of Kousani for Bruno to roll about.
Last but not the least a mountain stray whom ewe christened lovingly Jhupshi. He came every day at Kousani for a treat. And very much like Tiba walked right up to my door to say hello. Friends who give you much happiness and joy whenever they meet you.

I can sympathize with you. If you are an animal lover and have to restrain yourself from your natural instincts it is mighty difficult. Curiously though I had lost all my confidence in dogs or cats during my teen age for no particular incident that I can recall apart from the fact that in my childhood a cat had suddenly gone violent on me and scratched me severely. But that was way way back. And my open expression of love and respect resurfaced when I met my other half as he is completely mental about animals, animals and animals. I call him and my dearest friend Reshma dog whisperers! So know your feelings exactly.
