All things bright and small

Yeah yeah I know very predictable title. But Kumaon indeed is a bird watcher's paradise and when ever you take the trip do carry a hand book, you won't be disappointed. This green little one was amazingly sprightly and very difficult to catch, this is the best shot that I could manage. Just observe how tiny she is totally camouflaging herself with the surroundings.

Here too the camouflaging is astounding. This feathered friend definitely likes the worms and she was most certainly early too!
