Muse

This is Gitanjali, ruins of Tagore's cottage where he started writing the collection, which went on to win the Nobel Prize for Literature. The cottage is located in Ramgarh, Uttaranchal. The beauty of the surroundings is still worthy of any poet's muse.

Although it is advisable not to embark on hilly tracts during monsoons but for the weary city dwellers like me it is best time for very valid reasons. Firstly and fore mostly, the touristy crowd refrains from the hills and head to the beaches, hence less crowded. The second one is absolutely selfish and personal. The sheer soft light makes photography a pleasure and the lush green mountains remind me of my trips to the hills of Arunachal Pradesh time and again.
