Summer Fashion
With the mercury rising to 42 degrees in Delhi I have resorted to wearing saris. This is the only attire which can beat the current heat wave I have found. The silver lining is that without much thought I have got a new look as well am feeling less guilty about my stash of saris tucked in the wardrobe. Now whenever I succumb to the temptation of picking up the 6 meter wonder from a shop I would definitely feel less guilty! And the best part is I can deeply appreciate the beauty of our artisans who have been skillfully weaving this magical attire for ages in India. Here I am sporting a south cotton sari with hand block print. The motifs are drawn from tribal themes. If that is not unity in diversity what is?
