Hope
Keep the candle burning with hope for peace, happiness and prosperity for the world. Does it all seem much too euphemistic? I am sure it does, but then how can we function if we do not stop this war cry? Not only India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq and Thailand are seething with unrest the new conflagration of trouble is also seen in Greece this past whole week and which might touch a better half of Europe soon if not handled carefully. How does one move on under the trying circumstances?
Life I guess teaches us to pick up the pieces and continue to march on, it might not be "business as usual" but it however is time to carry on with work. A trying December for many nations of the world...is Nostradamus' prediction going to come true? Are we faced with annihilation? I want to get out of the depressing sense of defeat but can't find a ray of hope anywhere. And the media onslaught is not helping the situation either. Will it be completely escapist to immerse oneself in books right now? Well probably escapist it might be, on the other hand it would be a welcome panacea.
